    Default Insurance Settlement

    Looking for a idea on settlement Iím 32 I am a journeyman lineman I work on power lines. I was injured at work had a piece of equipment fail prematurely and hydraulic oil went into my hand at high pressure actually blew hole through it. I was rushed to hospital by ambulance and then life flighted to uc Davis had emergency surgery. This was may 28 2020 as of today I was evaluated at 90% partially disabled I lost 90% of my strength and motion. And I was laid off since they had nothing I can do. So whatís something like this settle for because I can never do my job again doctors words not mine but been doing it 15 years now and I know I couldnít do it again. Im not sure how any of it works. Thank I do have attourney one for work mans Comp and the personal injury side

    I am sorry to hear about your terrible injury. I hope you will continue to recover. You need to ask your workers' comp attorney these questions. There are a lot more variables that go into answering the questions you have, that are not included in your post. Your lawyer will have that information. He or she is in the best position to explain all this to you, and plus, explaining it is part of your lawyer's job and duty to you as the client.

    So what’s something like this settle for
    Each case is unique to the facts of the claim, no one case is the same so your question is impossible to answer.
    Factors include, age, education, Average Weekly Wage, the job market in your area, your impairment rating and other factors.
    Only your attorney who knows the facts of your claim can tell you what to expect, even then it would be a guess.
