New Spine Doc

My workers compensation claim was made in the State of: PA

Recently my spine doc retired. They did an acdf about 5yrs ago and I went to another doc in the same group. After tests was told my fusion never joined and could be root of current pain etc.. Was never told that prior. Having trust issues would like to find another spine doc within 45miles of me. In S Central PA. Is there a website, I did check health grades but not enough info there, that disabled people can use to find good supportive docs

A local experienced workers' comp lawyer would know what doctor to see and which ones to avoid.

no longer on wrok comp but I am on ssdi and was wondering. I had a failed fusion although new doctor said its nothing to get to concerned about?? in any case I am on pain meds so if I just continue that treatment is that enough for future SSA reviews. I will not undergo more surgery unless there is no way I can move due to it doesnt help you when its your spine vs say and arm or a leg

Cross that bridge when you come to it, never take pre-emptive action on the unknown.
Only react to an action - my motto is "they do then we do" never do the reverse.
If in the future they try to cut benefits you can then seek a second opinion, until then leave it alone.

I know of a case where a claimant was afraid that SS found out he was doing a side job for extra money and became paranoid.
One month his check was a few hours late on direct deposit so he called SS and began to explain that he didn't know he was breaking the rules and was only working for a short time.
The agent had no idea of what he was talking about, his check was late because of a computer crash.
Luckily the agent told him they had no record of a problem and let it go - he almost destroyed his claim over being paranoid and taking pre-emptive action.

Why go see another doc? What happens if he says you don't need pain meds and releases you full duty?
You're playing with fire, just keep doing whatever you've been doing until there's a reason to try something new.
Your eligibility is based on your disability, not the treatments you're receiving - don't make waves.
