Case with No Contact

Apologies if this is the wrong place,

I have an ongoing case I need advice on, it has been 2 years and I have no information from the insurance company or my lawyer. Months go by after I make a doctor's appointment and I never get information on wether any treatment options are approved or denied. I usually give up after 3 or 4 months and go back the doctor to try again.

I get payments and have even had a couple IMEs but I never hear back on those either. It has been suggested I get a job.... for my mental health (it's been slipping alot) But my work restrictions and job skills do not match. ( No standing, sitting only 1-3 hours a work day) I've always been a laborer.

Any advice on how to move forward would be appreciated, I'm In pain 24/7 and cannot physically make it out of bed some days. My doctor's want to help but nothing ever come of it and I am quite lost.

What state?

Have you contacted your lawyer in the last two years? - lawyers don't contact claimants unless there's an issue.
Are these request for treatments being submitted to the carrier?
Do you have a case manager?

Sounds like your doctor isn't submitting the request for treatments to the carrier - you should at least get a denial.

Not sure what you want to move forward on, sounds like they're paying medical and you're getting paid - unless you're being denied needed medical treatments, I'd leave it alone.
Ask your doctor if his request are being submitted to the carrier through the proper channels.

Workers' Comp insurance is obligated to pay your weekly wage loss benefit and pay for your medical treatment. What is it you are expecting in addition to those things? IF they are paying for medical and sending you a weekly check, they are doing all that they are supposed to be doing. If you don't think you are getting some treatment modality that your doctor wants you to have, then you need to get your medical records from the medical provider, read them, and see what has been recommended in the records that you have not gotten. Once you identify that, discuss it with your lawyer. Otherwise, there may not be anything to "move forward" to. It would not hurt for you to have a discussion with your lawyer about what he sees as the long run, end game of your case.
