    Default Return to Work Confict

My workers compensation claim was made in the State of: Canada Saskatchewan

So I injured my finger at work and my worker wants me to perform modified work duties while my specialist has insisted on taking 8 weeks off. I dont know what to do as I could return to work and not use my one hand but Iím being told not to by my doctor. I donít know what I should do.

Take any work offered by the employer within your restrictions or risk forfeiting your claim.

I doubt you're 100% disabled with an injured finger, you got something wrong with that write up.
The doctor must've made a mistake, I'm sure there's something you can do with just an injured finger.

Doctor made it pretty clear that I am not to return to work, since I canít use my right hand at all in his opinion without injuring it more and it not healing properly. The note says quote ďThis is to confirm ***** ******* has been under my care on 04/30/2021 and is able to return to work on 07/05/2021... patient will have restrictions in place until his F/U appointment on July 2 when the patient will be re-assessed and further instructions will be givenĒ

July 2nd is a Friday so the 5th is the following Monday so as long as the appointment on the second goes well I can return on the 5th is what my current note says. Yes I am just as confused as you why Iím completely off work for 8 weeks

What your not understanding is you might be hurting your claim by not going in!....Go to work, use one hand, they are playing a game with you return the faver!....If you have an attorney get him involved, the dr.s note is eveidence not get out of work card.
Just play their silly game, they wont be happy paying for you doing little or nothing!
