The first thing to do is determine what's triggering the depression, is it life events or a chemical imbalance in your brain.
See your doctor, maybe he can give you some meds or refer you to a psychologist.
You're not alone, there's a pandemic of depression - mental health doctors are overwhelmed, it may take months to get in to see a doctor.
For now, try to "be here now" see the good or peace in this very moment.
Most depression is from unrealistic thoughts of doom, worthlessness, or irrational beliefs.
Keep busy, don't let your mind wonder, call a friend or go for a walk - I know what you're going through, it's a bitch.
