Default Requested Jury Trial to Appeal WC Decision- Defense Wants to Negotiate

Just found this forum a bit late! However, I could use some assistance with the legal part of my WC case. The final WC hearing ruled that I am not 100 percent disabled and can work in some fashion. My attorney appealed this in circuit court and provided all of the doctors that I have gone to in the past 4 years to give testimony. Now the insurance company wants to settle. How would I know if I am getting a good deal? They have asked me to fill out a form for a company to look into all of my medical bills for the past 4 years so they can put money in a set aside that I will manage on my own. I am asking here because my lawyer hasn't really explained much other than its better to negotiate than go thru a trial. Any advice would be appreciated.

No one other than your lawyer can give specific advice about your case - he knows the details of your claim.
Follow whatever your lawyer advises - as long as you're represented, they aren't about to try and screw you.
There's no such a thing as a good deal in this business, you take the best you can get and run like hell.
