The NJ workers comp award ppd, however my Attorney stated that my retroactive TTD was apart of award. I was told by the attorney that once awarded a separate check would be paid for ttd. What should I do? Did not have to appear in court.

Maybe my wording is confusing. At first before the ppd awarded, I was told I receive a retroactive ttd payment of 6 monthes. Now the Attorney states the ttd is apart of negotiations of award. My award gave % for lumbar and a % for cervical. Nothing states ttd included. What can I do. Have not recieved anything at this time.
You'll still receive the retroactive TTD for six months in a lump sum - it is separate from the final award for PPD so it won't be mentioned.
What I don't get is if you have a 0% for lumbar and cervical you should get zero for an award for PPD.
Call your attorney for clarification.

Ooops Tony. I was a w awarded 50% cervical acdf, 15% lumbar herniated disc and buldging disc. Wish I would have been up on this site to begin with. This is first big case, he told me after he negotiated with w/c. No prior problems or complaints. The insurance called the shots. 3 to 4 depositions were file. Smh. My lawyer told me that the negotiations included the ttd retroactive. Does not make sense. This road was rough 3 1/2 yrs. The w/c had not paid me for 1 yr, but than paid for 6 monthes and my Atty said I would receive the other 6 monthes when case end. My case will last 6yrs 9monthes. Don't know how much to believe. The atty said I can go for treat if needed until 6yrs7 monthes. This site is very knowledgable. Should have gotten an Attorney more reputable from this site. Thanks Tony
Hi Tony. Just thinking I'm still experiencing pain with lumbar and cervical. Trying to hold out until recieve payment. What is the outcome of getting another lawyer to reopen or is it best to use the attorney I have. Last ttd 8/2021. Sept will be 4 yrs. What advice.
Leave it alone, call your lawyer and ask when to expect payment. What is the outcome of getting another lawyer to reopen or is it best to use the attorney I have.
I doubt another attorney would take the case, if they did you could drag it out another year.
