    Default Social Security and Workers Comp

    Hi
    Iím getting ptd on workers comp so when I turn 62 will I get my full social security on top of it?

    Only when you reach full retirement based on your age - I think right now it's 65
    If you have a medical condition expected to last at least one year or result in death, you qualify for Social Security Disability (SSDI) you should apply immediately.
    When you reach your full retirement age they will automatically change you over to Regular Social Security Retirement.

    Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) programs provide assistance to people who meet our requirements for disability.
