    Default Fers Disability Retirement

    I CURRENTLY WORK FOR THE GOV AND IT HAS BEEN AN UGLY EXPERIENCE SINCE I ARRIVES ALMOST 2 YRS AGO. I HAVE 19 YEARS WITH THE GOV TOTAL. IN 2019 I WAS IN AFGHANISTAN UNDER THE CIVILIAN EXPEDITIONARY WORKFORCE. I WAS INJURED I HAD A CONCUSSION DUE TO A BOMBING ON BAGRAM. THAT INCIDENT HAS CAUSED ME TO HAVE EOS ASTHMA WHICH IS CHRONIC AND SEVERE ( i now take shots every month to include all asthma meds) I ALSO HAVE CHRONIC PTSD AND SEVERE ANXIETY BOTH CASES WHICH DOL HAS APPROVED ON. MY REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION WAS DENIED AND I WAS TOLD TO COME TO WORK. DOCTOR HAS ALREADY TOLD THEM THAT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT WILL NOT HELP MY CONDITION. I'M ON LEAVE NOW AND I WILL BE UNTIL MY RETIREMENT IS APPROVE. EVEN IF I HAVE TO TAKE LEAVE WITH OUT PAY. HOW DO THIS WORK WITH W/C?

    MY REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION WAS DENIED AND I WAS TOLD TO COME TO WORK. DOCTOR
    It seems as long as they're denying accommodations you would still be eligible for benefits.
    You best lawyer up to keep them honest.

    IN 2019 I WAS IN AFGHANISTAN UNDER THE CIVILIAN EXPEDITIONARY WORKFORCE.
    You then would fall under the "The Federal Employees’ Compensation Act"
    You need to find a lawyer that handles Federal Workers Compensation claims.
