Is Worker's Compensation Compulsory? Yes
Are Waivers Permitted? No. However waiver agreements, with respect to the benefits in a particular claim, are permitted when all parties to the agreement agree to terms, and the agreement is approved by Workers' Compensation Board.
Numerical Exceptions: None.
Choice of Physician: Employee selects initial physician from a list maintained by the state agency.
Waiting Period For Comp Benefits After Injury: 7 days
Compensation is retroactive if disability continues for what period of time from the date of injury? More than 14 days
Attorney Fees Permitted: Individual case basis
